To all my moms.. PICK YOUR OUTFIT FIRST!! Whether you pick something that totally fits your personality or something kinda out there because YOLO, pick it because it makes you feel confident!! Plan everyone else around you!

If your itty bitty is in a dress, make sure you have bloomers or some sort of cover so we can avoid a Mickey Mouse diaper shot.

Think textures, denims, layers, personality! Flowy and denim always photograph beautifully and gives it a carefree and casual feel (my fav!).

I try to bring gummies to every family shoot to warm up cranky kids and it works 98% of the time, but if your little has a trick, bring it!! “Ice cream after!” never works the way that a gummy or yogurt melt in between shots does! Keep goodies tiny and not messy :)

I know getting littles out the door without stress or tears is nearly impossible! Please aim to arrive 7 minutes early so everyone has a minute to settle in before we start. Minis run back-to-back, so if you arrive late, we’ll make the most of the time remaining in your time slot. Because of the shortened session time, I cannot guarantee 20 images for late arrivals.

Mini sessions are paid in full at booking and your time is reserved specifically for your family.

7+ days before: 50% of your payment can be refunded, or your full payment can be applied toward another available mini timeslot.

Within 7 days: payments are non-refundable, but 50% may be applied toward a future family session.

*No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Mini Sessions are short, sweet, and a little more structured. With a limited time slot, we’ll focus primarily on those classic, everyone-looking-at-the-camera portraits, with a few candid moments sprinkled in along the way.

Full Family Sessions give us room to capture the real real. We have time to let everyone warm up, play, move around, and let personalities shine. You’ll still get some classic family portraits, but we can also focus on the in-between moments, individual relationships, movement, and all the little things that make your family your family.

If you’re hoping for a handful of beautiful updated portraits, a Mini is perfect. If you want a gallery that feels like a story of your family, I recommend booking a Full Family Session.
